Background
Volkswagen, as a leading enterprise in the industry, has a production line that covers PLC devices of several brands such as Siemens and Mitsubishi. However, the traditional field equipment monitoring method has problems such as poor protocol compatibility, slow fault response and high integration cost. Soluzione tecnica
IoTRouter provides the EG8200 Edge Computing Gateway and IoTRouter Cloud for Volkswagen's production line. It collects data from PLCs of mainstream brands such as Siemens and Mitsubishi, and realizes remote equipment control, fault warning, and other functions.
1. The downstream protocol is compatible with Siemens S7 protocol, Mitsubishi MC protocol, and EtherNet/IP protocol, which can be flexibly interfaced with different models of PLCs without replacing the original equipment.
2. The uplink adopts the MQTT protocol and transmits the collected production and fault alarm signals to the IoTRouter Cloud platform in real time and safely through the industrial Ethernet interface (network port).
3. The system supports flexible point configuration and large point capacity to meet the demand for concurrent acquisition of multiple signals in complex production lines.
4. The platform supports unified management of equipment, real-time monitoring, historical data traceability, hierarchical alarm push, and remote maintenance operations, helping customers realize digital and transparent management of production lines.
