    IOTRouter provides a set of equipment for power and environmental monitoring systems to support data acquisition, protocol conversion, remote control, and network transmission. It uses EG8208 (industrial gateway)+ET1010 (IO acquisition module + ER5000(4G router) as the edge acquisition and control layer, connecting to third-party professional environmental monitoring platforms or the IOTRouter Cloud platform.
    The gateway and I/O modules are installed in a cabinet. The gateway connects to the UPS and air conditioner via Ethernet/serial ports; the I/O modules connect to various sensors such as temperature and humidity sensors, leak detectors, infrared sensors, and door sensors. The gateway connects to the network via 4G/wired connection.

    Data Flow Description:

    1. Acquisition: The ET1010 uses an RS-485 interface to connect to sensors or devices, acquiring analog/digital data via the Modbus protocol and reporting it to the EG8208 gateway.
    2. Processing: The EG8208 can quickly achieve bidirectional transparent data transmission between the RS485 serial port and Ethernet. It supports multi-host polling and Modbus protocol conversion, and supports data reporting in user-defined JSON format. The EG8208 gateway has edge computing capabilities, enabling preliminary logical judgments (such as alarm triggering), data filtering, and protocol conversion.
    3. Transmission: The EG8208 gateway encapsulates the processed data and encrypts it via MQTT/TCP protocol before transmitting it to the environmental monitoring platform. The ER5000 provides secure, reliable, and 24/7 network support for the EG8208 gateway, ET1010 remote I/O module, and other devices.
    4. Analysis: The remote operation and maintenance platform can perform data storage, comprehensive analysis, visualization, and alarm triggering.
