    Flammable/ Toxic Gas Monitoring System Architecture:

    Deploy multiple gas sensors in gas-risk areas (such as near kitchen stoves, chemical tank farms, and livestock barns), then use the EG8200Mini gateway as the core edge data collection unit to interface with the sensors. Pair this with local audio-visual alarms and connect via 4G/Ethernet to the IoTRouter Cloud IoT platform. When gas concentration in a specific area reaches the high alarm threshold, the platform can automatically trigger devices such as activating exhaust fans, closing emergency shut-off valves, or activating sprinkler systems to prevent explosions, fires, or poisoning incidents.

    Data Flow Description:

    1. Collection:

    Using the EG8200Mini's RS-485 interface and Modbus RTU protocol, real-time concentration data from each gas sensor is polled and collected.

    2. Processing:

    The EG8200Mini gateway has built-in edge computing capabilities, enabling it to filter raw data, perform unit conversions, and determine whether levels exceed predefined thresholds. If thresholds are exceeded, the local audible and visual alarms are immediately triggered.

    3. Transmission:

    Processed data is transmitted to the cloud IoT platform via 4G network encryption using the MQTT/HTTP protocol.

    4. Analysis:

    The cloud platform stores, analyzes, and visualizes the data, triggering corresponding remote alarm.
