1. PLC Drivers and Compatibility
Q1. Could you provide the exact PLC models and firmware versions tested with the EM300?
A1: Yes, we provide the list and detail in the manual.
Q2. Do you have any Siemens, Rockwell Automation or ODVA certification/conformance documentation?
A2: Not have.
Q3. For Siemens S7-1200/S7-1500, does the driver support symbolic addressing and optimized data blocks?
A3: Not support, only DB blocks and absolute addresses are supported, such as DB1.DBD0 or MO.0.
Q4. For Rockwell controllers, does it support symbolic tags, arrays, structures/UDTs and both reading and writing?
A4: Supports tag addresses that can only be of regular types, such as 16-bit and 32-bit Boolean strings, with a maximum tag count of 5000.
Q5. What are the maximum numbers of tags and simultaneous PLC connections, and what scan rates can be achieved?
A5: No limited for numbers of tags, the more points there are, the longer the scanning time will be, with the fastest being a hundred milliseconds.
Q6. Are PLC values collected by polling or by subscriptions/events?
A6: Polling.
2. Software Platform and Customization
Q7. Which operating system and kernel version does the EM300 use?
A7: Buildroot 2024.02，Linux 6.1.99-rt36.
Q8. Is shell/root access available?
A8: Openversion is ok.
Q9. Can customers install their own applications, services, Node-RED packages or Docker containers?
A9: Openversion is ok.
Q10. Is there an SDK or API for configuration, automated provisioning and integration with our own cloud platform?
A10: Only provide basic API file for openversion EM300.
3. Cybersecurity and Product Lifecycle
Q11. Does the EM300 support Secure Boot and cryptographically signed firmware?
A11: Not Support.
Q12. Are remote updates signed, and is rollback available if an update fails?
A12: Not Support.
Q13. Can you provide an SBOM and your vulnerability/CVE management policy?
A13: Not Provide.
Q14. What is the expected product lifecycle and security-update support period?
A14: 5 years lifecycle.
Q15. Which TLS versions and cipher suites are supported by MQTT and HTTPS?
A15: Openssl 1.3.
Q16. Does it support MQTT mutual TLS with a unique client certificate for each device, including remote certificate rotation?
A16: Supports but no remote rotation.
Q17. Is there a TPM, secure element or other protected storage for private keys?
A17: Not Support.
Q18. Is locally buffered data encrypted at rest?
A18: Not Support.
Q19. Are role-based access control and administrative audit logs available?
A19: Not Support.
4. Remote Management and Data Privacy
Q20. Can the vendor P2P and cloud-management functions be completely disabled?
A20: Yes.
Q21. Which cloud endpoints are contacted by the device, where are those servers located, and what data is transmitted?
A21: Servers located in Germany.
Q22. Is an on-premises fleet-management option available?
A22: Yes available, need discuss.
5. OEM, Certification and Commercial Information
Q23. What OEM/ODM and white-label options are available, including custom branding and firmware?
A23: White-label is free or charge, 1pcs sample also ok.bulk order 100pcs for OEM/ODM custom branding, firmware custom need discuss as need.
Q24. Do you provide an API for zero-touch provisioning, device enrollment and fleet OTA management?
A24: Each device has a VPN and can be remotely accessed to the gateway configuration. ZTP is strongly related to business, and the platform and gateway must be strongly bound. You can develop based on NodeRED. or share us a complete process and agreement then we can discuss.

Q26. Is the 4G/Wi-Fi version already certified for Brazil (ANATEL), either as a complete product or through the installed radio modules?
A26: For now we only have ANATEL for installed radio modules.
