On February 6, 2018, under the guidance of the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Commission, the 2017 Sichuan (Chengdu) Internet of Things Industry Alliance Annual Meeting was jointly held by the Sichuan Internet of Things Industry Development Alliance and China Mobile Communications Group Sichuan Co., Ltd.
Chengdu Zongheng Intelligent Control Co., Ltd. (IOTRouter) was invited to attend the meeting. Nearly 300 representatives from the Internet of Things industry gathered to discuss the development plans and future directions of the IoT industry in Sichuan Province.
The conference was attended by Zhang Yanchuan, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, and Axle, Deputy Director of the Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Commission. The two leaders fully affirmed the achievements of the provincial and municipal IoT industry and encouraged enterprises to continue innovation and jointly build a highland for the domestic Internet of Things industry.
As a new governing member of the Alliance in 2017, IOTRouter officially received its governing unit license at the annual meeting. Meanwhile, the Alliance appointed Mr. Hu Tao, Chairman of IOTRouter, as a Director of the Internet of Things Industry Alliance, further strengthening the company’s role in industry collaboration and governance.
Through a strict selection and evaluation process, the “Internet of Things Intelligent Terminal Platform Based on Edge Computing”, independently developed by Zongheng Intelligent Control(IOTRouter), won the 2017 Chengdu Internet of Things Outstanding Project Award. The certificate and trophy were jointly presented by Yu Kaixin, Deputy Director of the Industrial Cooperation Department of the Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Commission, and Lei Jicheng, Chairman of the Alliance.
As a first-time participant in the evaluation, the project received high recognition from both the Internet of Things Industry Alliance and the expert review panel. In the future, IOTRouter will continue to increase investment in its edge computing platform, leveraging IOTRouter terminals to provide low-cost, fast-access solutions for IoT data transmission and near-end computing.
