Recently, Associate Professor Liu Zhidong, leader of the software technology major in the School of Automotive and Information Engineering, led a team of teachers, Lin Lin, Li Li, Li Qianling, and Zhou Fan, to Chengdu Zongheng Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd.(IOTRouter) for investigation. Hu Tao, general manager of Zongheng Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd., enthusiastically received the research team.
During the survey, General Manager Hu introduced the main products and businesses of Zongheng Intelligent Control to us in detail, and took the Majiang small water conservancy monitoring system as an example to demonstrate the company’s product effects and the software languages involved. Next, Associate Professor Liu Zhidong introduced to General Manager Hu the historical background, professional characteristics, talent training plans, student advantages, and disadvantages of the software technology major of City Vocational College.
At the exchange meeting, General Manager Hu and the software team teachers had an in-depth discussion on the talent needs of enterprises in the direction of software technology and the training of software talents in universities. Moreover, the team of teachers noticed that Zongheng Intelligent Control currently has listed cooperation projects with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The team of teachers asked General Manager Hu to learn more about its cooperation projects, models, and effects. Finally, the two parties discussed the cooperation between Zongheng Intelligent Control and our school. Possibilities and ideas for software professional cooperation.
Through this survey, the teachers of the software technology major of the School of Automotive and Information Engineering have gained insights, gained a deep understanding of the current requirements of enterprises for software majors, and provided new ideas and references for the subsequent talent training positioning and training model of the software major.
