On December 27, 2018, IOTRouter attended the IoT Industry Education Collaboration Seminar in Chengdu. The event was hosted by Sichuan Technology and Business University and organized by the Sichuan IoT Industry Development Alliance.
Over 50 IoT companies and more than 40 universities joined the seminar, with around 180 participants in total. The opening speeches welcomed everyone and expressed thanks to all the companies and academic institutions that supported the event.

Exploring IoT Industry Education Collaboration
The seminar focused on key areas shaping the IoT industry: smart cities, industrial connectivity, AI, and smart hardware.
Through panel discussions, project demos, and industry exchanges, participants shared practical ideas on how education and industry can work together in IoT.
Experts from universities, research institutes, and companies exchanged insights on industry–education collaboration models, applied IoT technologies, and talent development. These discussions helped everyone understand how to better align teaching and real-world applications in the IoT sector.

Recognizing Contributions to IoT Talent
One highlight of the seminar was the awards for Outstanding IoT Teachers of Sichuan (2018) and Outstanding Enterprise Experts (2018). These awards recognized individuals who made significant contributions to IoT talent cultivation and industry development.
During the awards, Mr. Hu Tao, General Manager of IOTRouter, was honored as an Outstanding Enterprise Expert in 2018, reflecting the company’s active role in IoT industry education collaboration.
Practical Value and Industry Participation
By participating in this seminar, IOTRouter strengthened its connection with universities, industry partners, and ecosystem organizations. The discussions offered fresh insights into IoT industry education collaboration and how to apply IoT technologies in real-world scenarios.
