In September 2018, IOTRouter participated in the 20th China International Industry Fair (CIIF), held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The event brought together manufacturers, technology providers, and industry professionals from the fields of equipment manufacturing, industrial automation, and related industrial technologies, serving as a centralized platform for technical exchange and product presentation.
The China International Industry Fair is one of China’s established industrial exhibitions, with a long-term focus on equipment manufacturing, industrial automation, and industrial informatization. Since 2015, the exhibition has been held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), gradually forming a comprehensive exhibition system centered on industrial technology display and industry communication.
IOTRouter at CIIF 2018: Industrial Communication Products on Display
During CIIF 2018, IOTRouter presented multiple series of industrial communication products, including GPRS / 4G DTU modules, NB-IoT communication devices, and Ethernet (RJ45) industrial DTUs.
These products were designed for industrial field data acquisition and device connectivity scenarios, using different communication methods to adapt to various network conditions and deployment constraints. The focus was placed on communication continuity, remote management capability, and long-term operational stability in industrial environments, addressing fundamental requirements for reliable industrial communication.
Application-Oriented Demonstrations
In addition to communication hardware, IOTRouter also introduced several application-oriented industrial communication examples based on real industrial scenarios. These demonstrations illustrated how different communication technologies could be applied to industrial data collection, equipment status monitoring, and system integration.
The presentations emphasized communication architecture and application logic, highlighting the role of communication devices as foundational connectivity nodes within industrial systems operating in complex field environments.
A Stage in the Company’s Development
Participation in CIIF 2018 represented a stage of early exploration by IOTRouter in the field of industrial IoT communication. Through interactions and exchanges during the exhibition, the company was able to validate product directions, gain insight into evolving industry requirements, and collect feedback from practical application contexts.
