De EC series of ARM industrial computers run on the Ubuntu operating system and come pre-installed with three software applications. Using the gateway IP address 192.168.88.1 as an example, these are as follows:

Management Backend: http://192.168.88.1:80

Device management page for querying device operational status, network configuration, firewall settings, and other functions.

Node-Red: http://192.168.88.1:1880

Enables quick construction of business logic via drag-and-drop functionality.

NeuronEX-Lite: http://192.168.88.1:8085

Enables rapid connection to various industrial devices and achieves millisecond-level real-time data collection and processing. Default username and password: admin/0000.

The device management backend is primarily used to query device operational status, network configuration, firewall settings, and other functions. The management backend integrates many pre-developed features (e.g., firewall, NTP, network reconnection, etc.). Mastering these features can significantly reduce the workload of secondary development. Therefore, please read and master the “Quick Start Guide” carefully:

Knooppunt-rood

Node-Red is an open-source visual programming tool that provides a browser-based workflow orchestration interface, enabling quick connection of IoT devices and data processing through drag-and-drop nodes. Node-Red is highly functional and has a vibrant open-source community, with thousands of third-party developed nodes available for free use, as well as the ability to develop your own nodes. The EC series does not provide technical support for the use or secondary development of Node-Red. There are many reference materials available online; please refer to them as needed.

NeuronEX-Lite

NeuronEX is an edge intelligence solution for industrial IoT developed by EMQ Company. NeuronEX-Lite is a lightweight industrial edge computing solution customized by EMQ for Zongheng Intelligent Control. Compared to the standard version of NeuronEX, this version simplifies support for some high-end industrial protocols, significantly reducing deployment costs while maintaining core data collection and processing capabilities, providing a more cost-effective option for small and medium-sized industrial scenarios. For differences in protocols supported by NeuronEX-Lite and NeuronEX, please refer to the attachment.

NeuronEX-Lite requires a license for use. For inquiries regarding license purchases, please contact our customer service team. If the NeuronEX-Lite protocol does not meet your requirements, you may also contact us to upgrade to the standard version of NeuronEX for a fee.

3️⃣ Open System Permissions

To support developers’ innovation needs, after rigorous evaluation, EC series products have decided to open system permissions to users with R&D capabilities. This feature will provide greater flexibility for secondary development, but please note the following important matters:
